**UPDATE**

Just got the call from the vet! Destiny is well and is currently sitting in her cage yelling at them. He said that she doesn't like him one bit! I told him that was ok, she was cranky anyway. She had a swollen gum this morning and he did a cell sample on it. He then used a big scary word which made me think she had cancer or something. Turns out it's just an allergy so she will need to take steriods for a bit. I can pick her up at 3 pm so all is well :) Yea!

Back from Amsterdam! I had a good time in the Netherlands and Belgium. It was a very interesting place. My friend's did get on my nerves but I think that may had to do with the fact that there were 4 of us girls traveling together. Best not to travel with so many people. Had a good time though and will write more about it later.

Amsterdam! Today is the day I leave for Amsterdam! Mom is worried of course but if she wasn't then I'd be worried about her! I've got a few more hours of work before I go home to vaccum my apartment and take out the garbage. Then Diana will pick me up and off to the airport we shall go! It should be quite exciting! Of course all this news of war isn't sitting well with me but I guess I can't stop living my life because of something other people are doing. I'll just have to be careful.

Till next week!

Whew! Almost done packing for Amsterdam. Why is it that I hate packing so much? It's really not that difficult yet it seems to take up my entire evening and often times entire week before a trip. My Mother has called about 4 times tonight to tell me she loves me. It was cute the first few times but now it's cutting into the packing and re-packing freakout! Well back to the packing :)
It's my first entry! and my first blog!

I'm off to Amsterdam tomorrow for a week and I'm quite excited. I'll be traveling with a few friends of mine and meeting up with another friend from England. The English friend is just coming for the day but we'll have lots of fun together!

Just got back from New York with another friend, Liz. We went to junior high together and used to beat each other up. Oh we were the best of friends. Well she's married now with two kids and this was her first trip away from her children. She had a stellar time and only missed the kiddos a bit. We made it up to Broadway and saw Caberet with Neil Patrick Harris and Deborah Gibson. Best show ever! Even better because we got the tickets from Half Priced tickets! We waited for an hour in the pouring rain in Times Square but the show all but made up for the soaked rat feeling I had earlier in the day. Poor Liz's feet were killing her by Sunday evening. I swear I heard her whimpering behind me as we moved down Canal Street. I only wished I could have found a taxi to take us back to the hotel!

The conference went great and I ate lunch with Steve Forbes. He was our conference's keynote speaker and his speech was quite educational and entertaining.

I finished knitting the hats for the Amsterdam trip. I'll post pictures of them later. The girls are going to love their little treats! I'm not working on a tea cozy for a friend's birthday. It's coming out great so far. I've knitted almost half of it. Then I'll felt it and cut it up to create the cutest tea cozy ever! I do need to get back to working on my sweater though. I fear it will be summer and I'll still be working on it!

Till later!
